Michelle Eisenberg received her Ph.D. in Psychological and Brain Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis. She completed the requirements for both the Clinical and the Brain, Behavior, and Cognition areas under the mentorship of Dr. Jeffrey Zacks and Dr. Tom Rodebaugh. Her research focused on how Posttraumatic Stress Disorder impacts the way people understand ongoing everyday activity and make predictions about the future.
She is currently an Advanced Fellow in Mental Illness Research and Treatment at the Palo Alto VA Healthcare System and Stanford University. She is working with Dr. Amit Etkin to discover biomarkers for treatment response in people with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder using multi-modal neuroimaging techniques.
